FOI Professional Standards: Are you complying?

Professional Standards made by the Information Commissioner came into effect on 2 December 2019.  They are a legal requirement; they must be complied with.  It’s the law.  Non-compliance can give rise to serious risks under the FOI Act.  Every officer of your agency must understand the significance of the Professional Standards and the FOI Act.  Is your agency complying?

• who is responsible for compliance?

• practical problems/solutions.
